Does anyone know if a fourth season has definitely been commissioned yet? I'd be absolutely gutted if they cut it now. It sure seems as though it's popular enough! Come on, someone make my day!!

I really hope it does come back ~ I haven't heard anything either, but I'd be really be really sad if they didn't come back for season 3, especially since the whole team is so well established now.

They are finishing season three... once the strike ended they ended up filming 6-8 more episodes, because prestrike i think they had baby in the Bough, Player Under Pressure, Man in the Mud . . .I think . . . but according to EW it will be completed. . . I think Fox renewed it for a 4th season

Bones is one of the four shows that Fox resumed after the strike..I LUV Bones!!!! I heard that we will also be treated to a proper season finale instead of a regular episode..

Fantastic news! Yay! To think that we'll have bones for at least another year!!

This is...obviously an old thread but I found out some great news from my favorite magazine, Entertainment Weekly: Not only is Bones back and as wonderful as ever--although I do have a bone to pick with the writers for the Hodgins/Angela catastrophe--but it has beaten CSI at its own, nearly five-year game and was the top-watched television drama the week of the premier. Yay for Bones! That does mean that the network would be crazy to get rid of it.

Okay, I know I'm really late with this but never mind . Season 4 is great but there's one problem for me. There were rumors( like always) that this might be the last season. So now me problem is, that I'm really looking forward to the end because that would mean that bb finally get toghether, but on the other side I'd be very sad that it ends. I think many bones-fans have the same problem. And if they would go on with the show although bb would be together, than I've to admit that it would get boring, i know that sounds rude or stupid but i noticed that in season 1 of angel. When buffy returns they're together for just one eps because Angel's no vampire anymore. First you jump around, happy that they finally got together, but then after some time I noticed that it got already boring in the same epps. I really don't know why but as suddenly they were together as suddenly it got boring for, dunno why.

Would be cool if we could discuss this a bit! Thanks!

I really really hope that this is not the last season as i don't know how i would live without it!!! I have to say though, when BB do get together i really do not think that it would get boring, The writers would have opened so many different plot lines to choose from. For example, how they would cope with workplace relationships, if they keep it a secret and if so how they keep it a secret, their conflicting views over children and marriage and even though there will have lost the tension a new tension will form - constantly wanting to be with one another (Most probably in a bedroom setting)... So thats my view so i don't see any reason why it should end this season... the fun is only just beginning =D
