Toungue  Helloooo out there

Hey,
I just thought I would start a thread where we could introduce ourselves and have a chat. So here goes...
I live in Australia. Im 19 years old and have loved Bones since I first saw the add for it on TV Big Grin
Since I got out of school I have been biding my time until I could get into a Diploma of Remdial Massage course being run next year. I have been doing a lot of charity work with a non-profit organisation known as Paws For Diabetics (PFD). We train medical assistance dogs for diabetic clients to alert to drops in blood sugar levels. Its busy but rewarding work.
I also spend a lot of time with the Australian Airforce Cadets. I teach and, as I am the highest ranking cadet, run everything Big Grin yet again it is hard work, but I really only stayed this year because they needed me to take charge and instruct the others on what to do, but, now that the year is almost over, I am finding that I will miss it.

Anyway I have things to do so I'll continue this later.
Cheers
Eset

RE: Helloooo out there

Hi everyone.

I'm Andrea and alongside Ajith aka Raiden I own this site. I work, like eset, for an NGO that deals with overseas aid and development and it's a job I love very much - not as much, however, as writing. I live in Northern Ireland and however much I love it, and its people, the persistent rain and dark winter nights drives me mad.

If anyone wants to offer me a beach-front villa in Fiji or The Maldives I would snap it up in an instant!!

RE: Helloooo out there

Hi again,

Yea well the weather does completely suck but the scenery and the culture outweighs that, I think. Still I wouldn't be opposed to moving to warmer climates any time soon. We would always trade, rosey - I hear the climate down there in Australia is much warmer generally!! Big Grin

Seems most countries have Irish hertiage somewhere along the line - weird, given Ireland and Northern Ireland are such small countries in the grand scheme of things.

RE: Helloooo out there

generally is the right word, the area around here had been battered by harsh storms over the past couple of days. luckily i've missed the brunt of it, but lots of homes have lost their rooves etc

oh wait, you wanted to trade? what am i talking about, it's always sunny and beautiful down here Smile

RE: Helloooo out there

Hey there, I just thought I'll put my tribute here Smile.

My name is Alessia, but I like more to be called Alee. I'm from switzerland(i know very small and some people even don't know it, what a shame :/ ) I'm 16 and I love bones since I first saw the promo on the german tv channel. Since than i started watching it also in english, on one side to know what happens, because here in switzerland or mostly in europe they do show it always about a half year later up and that i didn't like Smile, and on the other side to help myself involve in english. I do love speaking languages, I speak english, french, german, italian and at the moment i'm learning spanish Big Grin.

Yeah...that was the most important things about me and if there are any question feel free to ask me. I do really hope there aren't many grammar mistake and if there are, I apologize, I'm still learning Smile

Have a nice day all of you

Sincerely Alee
