Hi guys! The site was getting overrun with crazy spammers, so we have removed the forum - which had accumulated a ridiculous amount of spam records. The shout box seems to provide adequate space for user chat anyway so hopefully no one will even notice it's gone! |

| Season 7 |
Well, wasn't the ending of Season 7 quite something? I'm sure all Bones fans are excited and impatient to see how the show picks up in the Autumn! In this news post I would like to take the time to thank all of our writers and readers for the time spent in helping this site run. I would especially, however, like to thank tmpayne who, as I have noticed, has become our most prolific reviewer - as well as spending a considerable amount of time posting stories to our archives. It would be wonderful if all others could follow her tremendous example and repay her kindness by dropping a few reviews on her stories, as well as others! Thanks again everyone for making BFF the biggest dedicated Bones archive on the net! |

Hope everyone is enjoying the new season of Bones. What are your thoughts on it? Any developments really tickling your creative taste buds? I'm writing this news item to encourage anyone using the site to review as often as possible! Nothing is more disheartening for an author than their hard work going unnoticed! We have literally thousands of members now and this site does get a very good amount of traffic, so there is no excuse except your own laziness! | New Season |
Hey everyone, Hope you are all having a pleasant summer. I wish I could say that the weather here in the UK had been great, but unfortunately it's been a wash out from the middle of June. Hardly a surprise. I'm not sure how I am feeling about how Bones ended last season; not even a hug despite there being declarations of love and all sorts during the seaosn. It seemed a little anti-climatic to me and I think I would rather them get together and screw it up and THEN have to fix it than have them dancing around and around in circles. On a happy note, Raiden and I still cannot believe how many members we have got. Even after these years, it still continually surprises us. We can remember, after launching BFF, that within 3 days we had acquired 300 members and how we had been in awe. In fact, Raiden told me that he would have been pleased if we had 50 members on the site. Haha! 16,000+ and still growing. Thanks to everyone to continues to visit, those who have joined and thanks in advance to those who will! :) Enjoy the rest of your summer and see you in September for more Bones! Pereybere x |

Wow...I think it's been an interesting few weeks for Bones, don't you? Firstly the 100th episode and all the angst released there, then Angela and Hodgins - whoop! and not forgetting those unfortunate revelations about David Boreanaz's personal life, phew-ee, whoever the mystery lady was - lucky her! Now I am totally excited about the next episode and the climax of the Gravedigger story-arc. I've uploaded a new poll about the verdict so feel free to get involved and discuss! |

| Spammers (again) |
Hey everyone, Some of you may have noticed spammers attacking our forum. I am trying really hard to keep them under control by deleting the posts and the member accounts as soon as I notice them. Last night we had 30 posts by a spammer, and unfortunately I don't usually notice until the morning GMT so, I apologise to anyone who is bothered by these people in the interim. | For UK members |
I'm being a bit cheeky guys, and using the website for something non-Bones related, but tonight I became an Organ Donor and I wanted to encourage UK members to sign up to the NHS Organ Donor website to donate your organs whenever (hopefully not for a long time yet!!!) you die. I was struck tonight when reading the newspaper and I seen an advert in which it showed two young men, one very ill and one healthy. One says "Of course I would accept an organ" and the other says "I will donate someday, just not today." 99% of us I am sure would accept an organ donation if we needed it, and that relies on someone else donating in the first place. I figured I'll hardly need it when I'm gone, so why not? Please visit organdonation.nhs.uk and sign up! It only takes a minute! Of course, everyone else should find a donation centre in their respective countries and sign up too - without sounding terribly cliched - you could save someone's life someday! Pereybere xx |

We have a lot of problem with spammers at the moment. The forum seems to be inundated with people wanting to sell you viagra and an assortment of other pills. I am doing my very best to delete these posts before they bother anyone! Thanks, Andrea |

| What do YOU want to know? |
Since fanofbones posed a question for everyone in the forum last week - which I then placed as a poll item - I thought it would be a good idea to ask our members what questions they would like to see on the poll. The on-going debate amongst Bones fans is the 'should they, shouldn't they?' dilemma with many fans worried that sealing the deal between B and B would remove the chemistry and therefore the interest. What do you think? Post your questions and they will be uploaded for a few days as polls, where our members can vote. It's always great when the Bones community get involved and partake in polling, comments and forum discussions. :) |

| News, Info and Updates! |
Well everyone, as you can see, for the mean time Bones Fiction is back up again! Thank goodness, the problem is solved. The season finale is over and what an episode it was! A cliff hanger like that to keep us all pondering until Autumn. So cruel. I enjoyed it, however word around the circuit seems to be that not everyone did - oh dear. An update on some site-settings; new characters have now been added so you can more accurately archive your stories. Jared, Max and all the grad students have been listed now. If anyone has any suggestions - or anyone else they'd like added, let me know! Thanks for sticking around during our "down time"!! |

Well the season is well on its way to being over and, like most BB fans, I'm chomping at the bit to see how this mattress-mambo plays out. There seems to be a lot of hype surrounding it now and hopefully it will meet all our expectations! I would never usually use the news box for this, but I'd love to take this opportunity to congratulate my lovely boyfriend, Raiden, on his new job. He has been offered a very promising position and I want him to know I have every faith in his abilities. Also, Bones has been launched for over a year now and the interest has been incredible! Thank you every one for joining, adding your stories and getting involved. Although it's very optimistic, here's to another 5000 members this year! |

| NEW WEBSITE VENTURE! |
Hi everyone! Hope you're settling into 2009. Raiden and I are starting the new-year off with a new venture called Populatia. Basically www.populatia.org is a "People's Wiki" where ordinary people like you and I can go and make ourselves a bio page, just like what became famous on Wikipedia.org. Using their software, you can tell everyone about yourself and instead of writing a new bio for every new website you join, you can instead simply link to the same place, every time! Since it's a new venture, we are asking as many of you as possible to visit and sign up - to get the ball rolling and the momentum moving! We're not afraid to beg here! Hi everyone, I have not been around much recently this week, thanks to my laptop deciding to play up on me! I am hopefully getting it repaired shortly and I apologise to anyone waiting on an update for my story. It's so nice to finally be back up-to-date with Bones and actually know what people are talking about when they reference things. I'm disappointed that the writers seemed to have put Hodgela on a back burner for now, but I think the whole bi-sexual thing is totally in character with Angela and it fits her fiesty, openness to a T. Hopefully there will be some deeper delving into Booth's angsty past, but probably best to drag it out so that there is some measure of suspense for us -- and of course something to look forward to. |
