It's so nice to finally be back up-to-date with Bones and actually know what people are talking about when they reference things. I'm disappointed that the writers seemed to have put Hodgela on a back burner for now, but I think the whole bi-sexual thing is totally in character with Angela and it fits her fiesty, openness to a T. Hopefully there will be some deeper delving into Booth's angsty past, but probably best to drag it out so that there is some measure of suspense for us -- and of course something to look forward to. I picked the current poll because it's nice for writers to have some indication of what the readers are looking for, but it seems you are all as predictable (or most of you) as I had thought because the need for smut, smut and more smut is as evident as ever! Dirty minded boys and gals, the lot of you! Hope everyone has a great week - and of course, if anyone has any suggestions; for polls or site add-ons be sure to let us know. |

Hi everyone, Unfortunately I have been unable to keep as up to date with Bones as I would have liked, hence why I have not updated the polls! Argh. Does anyone know of any sites that has free viewing of Bones, not including Fox and Zulu as they are US only? It would help me get back on track again!! Thanks in advance! Pereybere |

| Bones and stuff |
Well it's been some time since I posted a news item. The weather is bitter cold here in the UK where I am and I have to admit, winter is not my favourite season of the year - unless I could stay indoors twenty four, seven. I've been keeping up with Bones online, watching the episodes once they're posted somewhere and I have to admit, I'm liking the rather eccentric assistants that are coming and going - although Fisher was a bit too much for me. Zach, who will forever be my favourite, was wonderful to watch in "PPitPP" I do have one bugbear, though and that is - these days Brennan and Booth continually cut people off when they are talking, get up and walk off as though the people they are talking to are meaningless, you know? Like when they walked away from Sweets and Hodgins. I find it a bit rude... but other than that one teeny complaint, I'm enjoying the episodes and looking forward to more. I'd like to apologise for the server issues we have been experiencing of late. Grr! It sucks having to rely on the stability of a company's resources and consequently, find outselves constantly battling with them to provide better services. Thank you for bearing with us. We are hoping that things are a bit better now and you can rest assure that when bonesfiction.com goes down, we are trying our best to resolve it. Have a fantastic weekend! |

| A Challenge |

| New Season |
Well, the new season has started and thanks to the Internet, I've caught up and watched the two-parter. I have to say, I found the situations quite funny and did laugh out loud at a few parts - namely when Booth realises he's drinking tea and not coffee and when he drops his Mini right in the middle of London and gets out for a tantrum. Although as a Brit, I thought we were a wee bit stereotyped but of course, it's all in good humour and I think everyone can have a giggle about it. When the London Bridge went up, I was almost screaming at them to turn around and see it! Anyway, horray to have Bones back on our screens! Here's hoping for lots of B and B moments and maybe some turn around for Hodegla! Bye for now |

I was wandering around the site today, as I do, when I came upon a post in our forum from our newest writer redrider. I would like to copy some of what she said here because I think it's vitally important! "I just want to remind the readers how crucial reviews are to the fanfic writers. You don't have to be eloquent in your feedback--just tell them what you liked about the story. You can even copy lines you especially enjoyed and paste them in your review. I love it when people do that." |

| Fan-Fiction |
Well, another week is over. It's Sunday again and work returns tomorrow. Raiden and I have been toying with the idea of making some new websites for other fanfiction soon that will be completely disconnected from Bones. Fear not, our little website here will remain just as it is. Although if anyone has any ideas about which fanfic websites they'd like to see out there, we'd much appreciate the input! We love having bonesfiction so much that we thought we'd try our hand at some of the other television shows out there, too. It's a shame that The X-Files if off the air now because it would have been a wonderful pet-project of mine. However, Gossamer.org would be a tough one to beat. Please share your views with us, whether it be television, movies or books, we'd love to know what there is an interest in. For now, enjoy what's left of your weekend. Pereybere |

| Just to ramble... |
Well, you've probably all read about our server woes! Raiden and I have spent countless hours passionately cursing the amount of down-time our beloved bonesfiction has been experiencing recently and we've decided to make a leap to something a bit more reliable. I've started a new job now which is brilliant as it involves 100% less stress than the hotel industry that I was previously enslaved by! My novel is finally finished and in the state of intensive editing and much head banging. Fan fiction is a breeze to write, compared to having to think up all your own material. God bless those television gurus who feed us all the necessary ingredients. I hope everyone is enjoying the milder weather now that the summer is finally here and the long winter is over. Of course, I had to weather the storm, so to speak, in New Jersey over the winter months as it was freezing and now that I'm back under the grey skies of Northern Ireland, the weather in NJ has been just spectacular - just my luck, eh? Anyway, I haven't written a news item in awhile that wasn't techno related entirely so this was really just to keep you informed about how life's progressing here. Have a great week! |

For some odd reason, the Shout Box is behaving very naughty and is duplicating messages by the members several times over. Raiden and I know about this and Raiden is going to look into it very shortly - unfortunately he is a programmer for his real-life job and that had been taking up many, many hours recently. It's superb to see that we're now getting an increase in authors. Our members keep climbing and Raiden and I continue to be amazed and delighted by the progress of the site. Hopefully as our membership grows, reviews will continue to increase too. It seems some people require a cookie or a bar of chocolate as encouragement. If you read a story and did not review then BAD PERSON! A note to all you readers out there - for every story you read and every time you log in and find something you enjoy, another person has sat down and spent at least ten times as much time writing it and in some cases, a beta-reader has made it worthy of being read so be kind! Rant over. Anyway, thank you so much to everyone who continue to make the site a success! Keep reading, writing AND reviewing! |

| Season Finale |

| Going Home |
Hey guys! Can't believe that our membership has reached over 1000! Raiden and I started this website as something to do because we are both away from home. Unfortunately real-life will now encroach upon our time as we are both leaving the US tomorrow. I'm returning to Northern Ireland and for some time, Raiden will be in India. I hope this won't effect the running of the website (since it seems to be running itself!), however once I return to work, I might not have as much free time. | Bones Forums!!! |
After almost a week of banging my head against the wall and yelling in my sleep, I have managed to integrate a Forum into bonesfiction. The challenge wasnt adding the forum, but integrating a single login for Bonesfiction AND the forum. Hopefully its done now, and im releasing it into bonesfiction. You will now see a link called FORUM in the top menu which will take you to the forum. Please let me know if you run into any bugs while trying to login or while using the Forum. | Man in the Mud |
I don't really have a specifc news item, to be honest. I was wrong about the episode that aired last night - turns out we have a couple more weeks to wait for the baby-story. Not that I was disappointed with Man in the Mud. *Slight spoiler* When Brennan and Booth go to the ceremics class, I was amused at how it seemed as though they were the couple and Sweets and April were bickering - talk about role reversal! Also - what a honey is Booth, inviting Sweets to go bowling at the end of the episode? Loved it. Can't wait for next week. |

Is everyone looking forward to the new episode? I can't wait to see what's going to happen with the little baby! What can I say? I'm a sucker for all gushy romantic stuff. Goodness!! That was a bit scary for awhile back there. Judging by the poll, a lot of people would like to see us have Challenges. We would be happy to oblige but in the mean time, we need more WRITERS!
